Top PS5 and PS4 game downloads on PlayStation Store in October 2022

We have the latest top download charts on PlayStation Store. What PS4 and PS5 games made the Top 20 in October 2022?

You can easily guess the top game download in October. Got it? Yeah, it’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. The latest COD has already topped a billion dollars across all platforms, so it’s no surprise at all that it topped both the PS4 and PS5 game charts.

Gotham Knights squeezed in at #2 on the PlayStation 5 charts this month. FIFA 23 took third place. Meanwhile, September’s top PlayStation Store download dropped to fourth. That game is of course NBA 2K23. A Plague Tale: Requiem debuted at a surprisingly weak tenth place on the PS5 charts.

Over on the PS4 charts – with the exception of Modern Warfare II – the sports game domination continued. NBA 2K23, FIFA 23, and Madden NFL 23 topped the charts last month. Legacy titles rounded out the top ten as gamers continue to shift their spending dollars to PS5 games: Grand Theft Auto V, Minecraft, and Red Dead Redemption 2. The one new non-sports game was Dragon Ball: The Breakers.
